  • from @brandstoryteller_ - COMMUNITY PROJECT DONE!

Last year November, I was posted to Bauchi State to serve my fatherland.

I was so unhappy because I had lived in the North all my life. I hoped to serve somewhere in the East or West but here I was, about to go Up-North and the stories I had heard about Bauchi State was not encouraging at all.

Well, I didn't have a choice, so I obeyed the Clarion call.

On getting to camp, I wrote down my NYSC goals and one of the goals was to execute a community project.

I got to a Government school in a community (Lushi) and I saw the students sitting on the floor to learn. It was really disheartening. So, I proposed to donate 50 desks to the school.

Getting the funds to execute the project was the major challenge I faced.

COVID-19 almost disrupted my plans too but thank God for the grace to push till the end and today, it is REALITY.

NTA Bauchi covered my event for free!!! Only God can do this 馃槶.

I want to specially thank my family for being extremely supportive. They gave me moral support when I was almost giving up.

To everyone who supported my project one way or the other, thank you for touching the lives of the school children.

Please, help me share this post and make it go viral. God bless you.
